The kykNET Overberg Air Show
This biennial Air Show was first held in 1999 and attracted a humble 5000 spectators. The event has grown in stature and received the award for best air show in South Africa in 2007 and attracted a respectable 20 000 spectators.
Due to operational commitments the Air Show was presented in March 2012 and not in it’s traditional November timeslot.
The Air Show also teamed up with Trio Events and secured kykNET as main presenting media sponsor. The ever present Coca Cola at our events also ensures flavour and hydration for all.
We have a proud history of Air Shows and as such, also because of our favourable location adjacent a missile test range, we are the only Air Show in South Africa to present the delivery of live weapons during the show. This unique feature and the warm hearted personnel makes this event a must for any warm blooded aeronautical enthusiast.
